What a proper mechanical design includes

• Manual J load calculation — the real heating and cooling load for the home, room by room.
• Manual D duct design — duct sizing and layout that can actually deliver the airflow each room needs.
• Equipment selection matched to the load — right-sized, not rounded up.
• Ventilation and humidity strategy for our climate.
• A complete residential mechanical plan you can permit and build from.

Verify, don't assume

A design is only as good as its execution. Blower-door and duct-blaster testing confirm the home and its ducts actually perform the way they were drawn — so you're not taking it on faith.

Why it's worth it
